Pearl & The Beast was born from a deep love for the enchanting world of pearls. It all began with a dream to share the joy and artistry of pearl jewelry making with enthusiasts like you. With years of experience in the industry, we embarked on this journey to bring the magic of pearls into your hands.

Our shells are large freshwater pearl mussels, they are not alive！Shipped to us only after they have already died. They are not oysters, mussels can also produce pearls. These mussels are not edible and are not the food-type mussels. They have already been deceased before shipping. We’re proud to be the first fully hand-opening pearl mussel shop in the U.S. Unlike oysters opening(Hawaii or Disney locations), contain only one small pearl, mussels offer bigger pearls, more varieties, and multiple pearls per shell. They also help clean the water and improve the environment, and we partner with mussel farms to reuse shells after they pass away. Without financial support from pearl sales, these farms wouldn’t raise mussels at all. The experience isn’t cheap, but it’s truly worth it. Each air-shipped mussel costs $80. 925 silver jewelry is an additional $30–$80 per piece,average spend is around $150 per person, any extra pearls you find can be taken home . All prices are clearly displayed, and there is no forced purchase — if you feel it’s expensive, you can spend less or even leave. Please just be respectful to our staff and don’t give them attitude about the price. Each session lasts about 2 hours. Because our shop has limited staff, please try to book in advance by phone. We will do our best to provide excellent service during your visit. Pearl and the Beast is a small family-run business, and we are truly grateful for all your support. Even though silver prices have nearly tripled and import duties have increased, we haven’t raised our prices, because our goal has always been to bring joy and surprise to everyone. If you visit New York, please stop by — it’s sure to be one of the most magical experiences of your life! Our jewelry is made on-site, and most pieces need about 24 hours to cool and set properly. If our staff packs it for you instead of placing it directly on your hand, please wait 24 hours before wearing it. If, for any reason — such as strong shaking or other accidents — the piece is damaged or fails, please bring it back, and we offer free repairs.
